Booking

At the time of booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment date and time. Your session deposit can be made via the booking link with any major credit card or PayPal. Appointments made without deposit may not be honored and are subject to cancellation. Payment of the deposit is required at the time of booking. Without a deposit, there is no guarantee of photography services. Payment of the deposit acts as an agreement to all of Jamir.ism Photography's policies. Collaborations/Creative Endeavors booked with no monetary gain give Jamir.ism Photography ALL rights to photos taken and can be used however/whenever he see’s fit. Payment

 Sessions must be paid in full prior to shoot date or immediately after the shoot via Cash, Cash App, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Checks are not accepted. An additional $20 surcharge will be added on all sessions where client is beyond 15 minutes late. Session end times will not be extended to accommodate client lateness.

Cancellation

If you are unable to make your photo session all deposits will act as a cancellation fee. 72 hours of advance notice of cancellation is required in order to credit the deposit towards a future session or a half refund. If not notified within 24 hours of the session the half deposit rule is cleared and there will be no refund BUT the client can reschedule for FREE on a day that fits the photographers schedule within 3 months. The photographer reserves the right to deny service to any client(s) who repeatedly have a history of cancellations. If Jamir.ism Photography cannot perform this contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to illness or emergency, then the Videographer/Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the client, but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract. This shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in mail or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event Jamir.ism Photography fails for any other reason, Jamir.ism Photography shall not be liable for any amount in excess of all monies paid. 

Turn around time

Proofs are returned to client within 1-7 days from when they are taken. Turnaround time for edited images are between 5 - 14 business days from when the client selects images to be edited if rush edits aren’t purchased (1-3 business days). 

Extra edits are serviced after the initial packaged photo’s are returned. 

Creative Shoots/Collaborations HAVE NO TIME SPECIFICATION IF FREE OF COST, Usually within 1-2 months to turnaround, but may be sooner. 

Rescheduling

Rescheduling is free depending on the day. If I’m free it's free. If I’m not and I have to squeeze you in there will be a $100 fee.

What does “Edited” mean?

The photos of course looks gorgeous out of camera but I add color correction, blemish removal, stray hair removal, sky replacement if needed, etc. I DO NOT do body modifications unless paid for in the premium edits add on. PLEASE wear your correct size and have your clothes steamed/ironed accordingly.

Do You Travel?

YES! However, services outside of Delaware require a travel fee. If a the travel fee is not added in the initial booking (Add-On), it may be added to the final cost or it may be subject to cancellation.

How many people can I bring to my shoot?

I recommend a total of 2-4 people for anything outside. Large groups of people tend to take the focus away from the actual pictures and we end up shooting less than we were suppose to; but it’s up to you. Bring the whole family if you want!

Inside studio shoots - keep it down to 2 additional people that are not being photographed.

Refunds

All photoshoot bookings are non-refundable once confirmed. However, if you need to cancel and notify us more than 72 hours before your scheduled shoot, you are eligible to receive a 50% refund on your deposit. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the shoot are not eligible for any refund. Edited work that has been delivered is also non-refundable due to the time, resources, and creative effort invested. 

The only exception to this policy is in the case of unavoidable "Acts of God" (such as natural disasters, severe illness, or other unforeseen emergencies) that prevent the session from taking place. In such instances, we will work with you to reschedule or issue a credit at our discretion.

Social Media

Jamir.ism has the right to take and use footage from your selected shoot with purposes of marketing and promotion (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Website, etc). Although, it is not guaranteed that this will happen, there is a high probability. In the event that you do not want to be recorded during your shoot, please inform Jamir.ism Photography prior to your shoot.

If you (client being photographed) would like to record or have an attendee record your own footage for your social media platforms, you are more than welcome to do so. Although it would be encouraged and appreciated that you share and or tag Jamir.ism Photography to your post, it is not required.

Studio

In the event that you would like to book a studio of your preference (not the one provided by Jamir.ism Photography), Jamir.ism Photography is not financially responsible to secure that space. That responsibility would solely be on the client and the owner of that space, making Jamir.ism Photography a third party and not responsible for anything except for taking the photographs.
